060629 Worked on handstands in the Yard until I kicked up too hard and instead of just rolling, I tried to hold it and landed flat on my back.

Complete as many rounds in 20 minutes as you can of:
5 Pull-ups
10 Push-ups
15 Squats

I completed 5 rounds in 11 minutes, and wimped out because It is 2150 and I have to work tomorrow.

Back Squat 5-5-5-5-5 reps

I only have access to 70 pounds of Barbell weights at this time, so I did 5x5 of 70 pounds, plus 3 on the last set. Because of the low weight I should have done more reps like 10x5 but I wanted to do some KB work. So I did 8 minutes of 30 sec on and 30 sec rest with 1 pood alternating Right and Left one hand swings for 16,16,16,16,15,15,12,12 Reps.


Took the kids to the park and did some chinups including 1 almost dead hang immediately followed by 2 more kips. Then I attempted more handstands and actually held one for about 2-3 seconds.

Complete as many rounds in twenty minutes as you can of:

21 Jumping pull-ups
65 pound barbell Thruster, 15 reps

Post rounds completed and any thoughts or analysis regarding the jumping pull-up to comments.

Set-up so that your pull-up bar is about nine inches below your max reach and jump vigorously for each rep. Count only the reps where you go from full arm and shoulder extension to chin over the bar.

I did:
21 Jumping pull-ups (on TotalGym Level 10)
25 pound dumbbell Thruster, 15 reps

I completed 3 rounds. I have no energy today due to poor eating today, probably will all week.

Did some work on practicing handstands in the yard while the kids played.

Today's Workout was

Push Jerk 3-2-2-2-1-1-1-1-1 reps

Since I don't have access to many weights I used the biggest I could and
did 14 Straight Reps with 30 pound Dumbbells. I will try to work on my
handstand this evening if the weather cooperates, I will keep you posted.

1 1/2 pood Kettlebell X 21 swings (or 55 pound dumbbell swing)
12 Pull-ups

I substituted

Ride Stationary Bike 800 meters
45 pound Kettlebell X 21 swings
12 Pull-ups on Totalgym Level 10 + 20 pounds

First Day

Today is my first post. I have been doing crossfit for about 4 months and have had a log over at purposely primitive, but I felt like I needed something of my own.

Today was a Rest day on the main page so I did some Pull-up work. I was on the Total Gym Level 10 used a ladder approach dropping the weight at the top of the ladder.
